Hey guys, today I want to talk about how consuming alcoholic beverages can lead to eternal destruction. Drunkenness-a state of impaired judgment and behavior caused by the consumption of alcohol. Drunkenness causes the transfer of demonic spirits. Don't allow an unholy substance in your body that does physical and spiritual damage. Why settle for something that demands restrictions when you can embrace something without boundaries, and that’s Jesus Christ. We are supposed to follow God’s ways, and if Jesus did not do it, neither should we. We are supposed to be holy because we serve a holy God. We are God’s sanctuaries, and consuming alcohol and becoming intoxicated is not pure or holy in any way. Getting tipsy and drunk in no way edifies God, but the flesh. Obeying the flesh leads to destruction and ultimately hell. When you're doing those things, you're killing the spirit and giving the flesh power. When you allow yourselves to consume these substances, it alters your mind, and it attracts negative spirits. Why do you think some people get violent when they've consumed alcohol or have no remembrance of what happened the night before? Alcohol causes people to make bad decisions.
Don't allow the negative spirit of drunkenness to overtake you, as that only leads to a dangerous, dark road. Speaking as someone whom God delivered from the ways of sin, drunkenness is a sin, and it's often mentioned in the Bible that we are supposed to be sober-minded (1 Peter 5:8-9) (1 Peter 1:13). How is alcohol consumption sober-minded? It entirely goes against the Word of God. For individuals who claim to drink only occasionally, this behavior can escalate to regular drinking, particularly in the company of heavy drinkers. Why drink occasionally when it is better not to drink at all? It's best to avoid the temptations of alcohol. What can alcohol provide that Jesus Christ cannot? Absolutely nothing; liquor only leads to substance abuse and destruction.
Wine drinkers
Stop using the argument that Jesus drank wine to justify your drinking problem. Yes, Jesus turned water into wine, but what does that have to do with your intoxication? Stop making excuses to get drunk! I want to add that the Bible does not explicitly mention that Jesus drank wine; He miraculously turned water into wine ( John 2:1-12). He was NOT on earth turning up bottles of liquor. He lived a holy life and, according to Jesus, we should do the same (1 Peter 1:16).
Jesus was NOT using wine as a substance to calm His nerves. The more you drink alcohol, the more your body will become dependent on it. You should not rely on a substance to calm your nerves, period. Let God give you peace of mind. His peace surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). I assure you the calmness God gives you does not even compare to that little beverage; there is simply no comparison. Read Galatians 5:20-21, Ephesians 5:18, Proverbs 20:1, Proverbs 23:20-21, and Isaiah 5:22-23 for the truth.
Repent and devote yourselves to God. Seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness! Live by the ways of our Heavenly Father.
I pray this helps you all. Be blessed, brothers and sisters.
Peace.
YES AND AMEN!!🙏🏽
That’s Amen!!. Hummm, Wonder if that’s the reason liquors are called, “Spirits”. Hummm.. Think about it.
